How do I transfer/deposit crypto with my sub-accounts?

Sub-accounts can be used for spot, spot leverage, contract trading and deposits for standard sub-accounts, but withdrawals are not allowed. You can only transfer crypto from your main account into your sub-account. To transfer funds from your sub-account back to your main account, you must do this within the main account.

How do I transfer crypto from my main account to sub-account?

On the web

1. Login to your OKX main account and go to Transfer via one of the following:

   • Profile > Sub-accounts, find the sub-account that you want to transfer funds and select Transfer

   • Assets > My assets, select Transfer > Main and sub-account

   • Assets, select Transfer > Main and sub-account

2. Select the Sub-account you would like to transfer and your preferred crypto in Asset.

3. Adjust the From/To details according to your preference

4. Fill in the Amount and select Transfer to complete your crypto transfer from your main account to your sub-account

On the app

1. Login to your main account and select Assets

2. Go to Transfer and select Main and sub-account

3. Select the Sub-account you would like to transfer and adjust the From/To details according to your preference

4. Select your preferred crypto in Asset, fill in the Amount, and select Confirm to complete your crypto transfer.

How do I transfer crypto from my sub-account to main account?

On the web

1. Login to your OKX main account and go to Transfer via one of the following:

   • Profile > Sub-accounts, find the sub-account that you want to transfer funds and select Transfer

   • Assets > My assets, select Transfer > Main and sub-account

   • Assets, select Transfer > Main and sub-account

2. Select your preferred sub-account and preferred crypto, then select Switch to change the account type in From and To on the Sub-account transfer page

3. Fill in the Amount and select Transfer to complete your crypto transfer from your sub-account to your main account

On the app

1. Please make sure you are logged into your main account

2. Toggle and select the main menu

3. Select "Withdraw"

4. Select "Asset"

5. Select "OKX User"

6. Select "Sub-account" and enter the name of your sub-account to complete your crypto transfer.

How do I deposit crypto with my sub-accounts?

The main account controls the ability to enable the deposit function for sub-accounts on the web. However, only standard sub-accounts are allowed to deposit cryptos.

Before depositing crypto into your sub-account, log in to your main account and go to Profile > Sub-accounts. Find the standard sub-account that you would like to enable for deposits, select Action, and toggle Deposit on.

Once the deposit function is enabled, you can switch to the standard sub-accounts to make deposits as usual. If you would like to know more about how to make a deposit on our platform, you can view the information here.

After switching to your standard sub-account, you can go to Assets > My Assets > Overview > Deposit on the web to obtain your sub-account's deposit information. Alternatively, you can select Profile > Deposit to view your sub-account's deposit information.

If you're accessing from our app, switch to your preferred sub-account at Menu > Profile and settings > Profile > Switch accounts, then go to Assets, and select Deposit.
